True story.
My parents were recently separated...
i was 11.
my mom was remarried to a stranger...who had suddenly become my step dad.
i was sent to the boarding school,to be away from the tensions going on.
It was a lonely afternoon in my childhood.
I was sitting under a tree.
A leaf fell on my head.
For some reason i just made up a myth there and started believing that if u catch a falling leaf,
its lucky.
till date i dont know why that happened...i guess i just needed some luck on my side.
I started throwing stones at the tree.
Hoping that one leaf might fall off and i might catch some luck :)
Many leaves fell...i dint catch any :(
I was sad..:(
i went back to my hostel and had a nice sleep...and forgot about that whole incidence until today.
i am 19 now...i was sitting under a tree.
A leaf fell right into my hand and i was suddenly reminded of the childhood myth i made.
I asked myself...What should i wish for?
The answer i got was..i have everything :)
I cant wish for anything more.
the stranger mom married to is MY SUPERMAN now!
He has given me everything i could only wish for.

Filmography

· Nikhil Bose Sangle is a graduate from the prestigious ‘Manipal University’ in the B.Sc Animation course in the years 2009-12.

· Having studied the arts of Storyboarding, Illustration, Script-Writing, 3d modeling and vfx, Nikhil Bose Sangle landed a job in an ad agency as an illustrator during his graduation.

· He went on to work in the ad agency for a year during which he learns the art of ad filmmaking.

· He went on to be the director a web show for his ad agency titled ‘The Real Review’ which is a movie review show for Indian cinema.

· Each episode of ‘The Real Review’ was written, rehearsed, shot, edited and rendered in 7 hours.

· Nikhil Bose Sangle then went ahead and started working for Kabir Ali, an Indian filmmaker, on his film Fighter (post-production) as a storyboard artist while continuing to work on The Real Review.

· The entire storyboard for Fighter (500 detailed frames) was done by Nikhil singlehandedly in 45 days.

· After his work was done on the pre-production stage, Nikhil Bose Sangle went on the sets of Fighter to get inspired and make his own short film.

· He then quit his job to produce and direct his first short film ‘Pair’ which was in his mind since May 2012.

· The film was shot on 17^th January, 2013 and was completed in fifteen days.

· Nikhil Bose Sangle formed his production house while the shooting of Pair called
‘A Whining Mind’
